Stamford & Mercury Business Award Winners!

trophy podium

On the evening of Friday 20th September, we attended the Stamford & Mercury Business Awards at Greetham Valley Golf Club as we were finalists in the “Best New Start-Up” category. We were incredibly honoured and proud to have been chosen as finalists in this category. In fact, we’ve not entered any award previously, and to be notified in the first place that we’d been nominated was a complete shock.

After submitting information about what the company does and the role I play within it I was informed that Quibble was a finalist!!!! *Cue excitement*

A short while later I was invited for an interview and video session. I was asked to talk about the growth Quibble has experienced, along with our values and the number of charities and organisations we support made me realise that we had a good chance of winning. And, it was great to finally be recognised for the hard work we do, especially in the local area.

Awards Night

The awards evening soon came around. It was wonderful to see so many people and businesses come together to support one another.

The guest speaker, Claire Lomas, who was left paralysed from the chest down after a horse-riding accident in 2007, was a true inspiration and a pleasure to listen to.

Once the awards began the nerves set in. But, as they read out the details of why the winner had been chosen – for their national and international success – I came to realise that it all sounded rather familiar. They were talking about us. About Quibble! We’d won!!!!

We are so happy to have been selected as the “Best New Start-Up” and would like to thank all our friends, colleagues, clients and everyone around us who have supported us as we’ve grown Quibble Content into the agency it has become. What’s more, we’ve got a busy future ahead. We’ve recently updated our branding and website, and we’re taking on new members of staff to help us reach our true potential. This is just the beginning. You can find out more about what we have in the pipeline here >
